BPL is also hosting a fun children’s program in honor of National Sauce Month! On March 9th from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, grades K-5 are invited to come taste a variety of sauces and learn about each of them. Anyone interested in attending this program can register through our website.
Despite sauce once being used as a way to cover or mask foods that were no longer fresh or pleasant to eat, it has now become a delicious addition to a variety of foods; from chips to spaghetti, to sandwiches or drinks, it can truly tie together a dish. I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly excited to celebrate my love for sauce.
