Kate, BPL’s Children’s Librarian, chose Bluey and Bingo's Fancy Restaurant Cookbook as this month’s staff pick. Geared towards ages 4-7, this juvenile cookbook is perfect for your little one – especially if they’re a fan of the popular children’s television show, Bluey. All thirteen recipes are printed on bright pages with fun illustrations of beloved Bluey characters. Some unique aspects of this cookbook that help make cooking more user-friendly to younger minds is the difficulty rating above each recipe, and the check boxes next to each ingredient. Kate promotes this book in her statement, “Wackadoo! Check out the fanciest cookbook in town brought to you by everyone's favorite canine siblings, Bluey and Bingo. BPL has a hard time keeping this book on the shelves because it is loved so dearly, and it’s clear that others feel the same; it has received glowing reviews on many credible sources.
